God is doing a tremendous work! The application for tax exempt status is being prepared as I type. We are in the final stages of this process.
As I met with Pastor Steve Rhodes this morning to share with him the vision that God has given us for Delivering Hope International, the rapid-fire thought process that developed was something like this:
"What good is water without The Living Water? What good are medications or medicinal plants without The Giver of Life? What good is any kind of relief effort without The Gospel of Christ? Such efforts would be likened to a morphine drip on one's death bed; pleasant, but of no life-saving value whatsoever!"
Christ said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matt 11:28) Furthermore, "I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: NO MAN cometh to the Father but by me." (John 14:6) Clearly stated. Without Jesus, The Christ of The Almighty God, there is no life...regardless of the apparent state of the body!
I am headed to Malawi again in August. My plan is to see a well drilled and begin a medicinal herb project in a remote village currently destitute of all clean drinking water, health care, and health education. All of that to present to the citizens of this village (and surrounding villages) The Living Water, The Life, The Way of Salvation, and The Truth of THE ALMIGHTY GOD, Jehovah!!!
